OUR MOTO

Dedicated to training Professional therapists.

PBHC is now considered a top school worldwide due to our ability to offer international qualifications and our reputation with high standards and students’ high passing grades. We have a competitive edge in the Caribbean due to these factors.  Also we have a competitive edge internationally as many students wish to study in Barbados. We do not wish to compete but merely to have the opportunity to offer good quality teaching and internationally accredited certifications. In every first class, without exception, students are enlightened to the following basics:

• It is important to understand that we are not just treating an injury someone received
• We have to look at the whole person, including things like nutrition, diet, exercise, lifestyle, the environment and biology
• If a client comes with a particular ailment, obviously you are looking to treat that ailment but the ailment might be caused by something else. Some clients might want something done but as qualified therapist you will be able to guide if they could benefit from something else.
• What you put in, is what you will reap, so if you work on a client when unhappy, you transfer this energy to the client. One of Managing Director’s favorite analogies is that – “If you make a cup of tea for someone and there no loving intent, all you are giving the person is dirty water”
• Another guideline she offers all therapists is that, “If you enter into the field of therapy with the intent of making money, you will not be a success but if you enter with love for the healing, the finances will come”
